Include the service level, declared-value charges, insured shipping in both directions, protective packing, exchange rate, card conversion fees, possible taxes and possible brokerage—not only the advertised grading fee. How do I choose a grading company?
Compare label preference, authentication expertise, resale recognition, turnaround time, registry features and total cost for your goal. Keep proof of value and use shipment tracking appropriate to the card’s value.
How should I prepare a card for grading?
Use the holder and packing method required by the grader or submitter. Avoid tape directly across a card opening, use rigid protection, prevent movement inside the parcel and keep the shipping label legible. Do not spend based on an assumed top grade because the provider grades the physical card, not a prediction from a seller, app or photograph.
When is buying an already graded slab simpler?
